Live off-campus
Many students choose to live off- campus and thus living a deep dive experience of the Eternal City. The average cost of living for Students living in Rome is approximately 1000€ per month, including housing, books, food, transportation and personal care.
The easiest way to reach the Macroarea di Lettere e Filosofia from city centre is by both subway and bus:
1. Take the subway Line A, direction Anagnina, and get off at Anagnina Station;
2. Take the bus number 20, direction Via Cambelotti (Tor Bellamonaca) and get off at Lettere e Filosofia.

Moving around Rome by public transport is cheap and practical and students may also want to consider subscribing a monthly pass to move freely even in the country- or seaside. The average price for a one-way ticket of local transport is 1,50€ (bus and subway). Monthly pass have a regular price of 35€, but it might increase if you opt for a multiple-areas pass.
